    Your phone measures the flat.

    The iPhone's LiDAR captures the geometry of every wall, recess and opening. About four minutes per room.

  2. 02 Geometry

    Points become walls.

    Every plane fitted, every opening measured — to within two centimetres.

  3. 03 Plan

    The architect gets a dimensioned plan.

    Measured in your flat, not traced from a brochure. A wall that isn't straight stays on the drawing exactly as it is.

  4. 04 Full set

    Then it's just like having a plan.

    The first model within an hour, the full drawing set for your crew within a week: dimensioned plan, electrical and plumbing.

The wall stands 10 cm further out than the plan says.

In new builds it happens all the time. The scan measures what actually stands there, and the made-to-measure built-ins are recalculated before anyone picks up a saw.
